Welcome to Hedgehog Class

Mrs Newlands, Mrs Asfaw and Mrs Snow and all the wonderful Hedgehog Class children welcome you to Year 2 at Derry Hill Primary School.  Our class is very excited to start our journey towards the end of Key Stage 1, and we work hard in year 2 to develop the skills and knowledge that help us become more independent and confident learners. Please check out our Hedgehog Class Gallery page to see some of the exciting things we have done in our class this year. 

We work as a team to make sure everybody is challenged to achieve their best in every subject and we respect each child’s views and ideas. Our door is always open for anybody who has any questions, or even just needs a chat.

Key information

Our P.E. days this term are Tuesday and Wednesday. Our day starts at 8:45 and finishes at 3:15 and you can pick the children up from our classroom door. Please see our welcome letter for any further information. Thank you.
