We are very excited to be taking part in the National Year of Reading, which is the biggest campaign in a generation designed to help more people (re)discover the joy of reading and make it part of their everyday lives.  Their slogan is 'Go all in – if you're into it, read it', which promotes reading anything – graphic novels, magazines, blogs or audiobooks – not just traditional books.

At Derry Hill, we have many wonderful activities planned over the coming months, including National Storytelling Week in February and World Book Day.  We are also excited to be launching our Readathon in March where the children will raise sponsorship money to help children in hospital.
