Children at Derry Hill had an exciting visit that took them into outer space, inside a volcano and back in time.
This was all part of Derry Hill's Science Day. Each class had a chance to visit the planetarium where they were
transported into their science learning. 
Classes then followed this up with a variety of science-based experiments and investigations that allowed children to develop their curiosity and deepen their understanding about the world.
Children had the opportunity to dress up in science themed clothes and they all looked great – we had a range of
costumes from mad scientists to nurses, from astronauts to volcanologists.
