Welcome to Mole Class

We are the wonderful Year 1 children at Derry Hill School.  We are very lucky to have Miss Hopes as our teacher and Mrs Green as our teaching assistant.  Miss Hopes has lots of exciting topics planned for us this year - we can't wait to learn with her!  Please check out our Mole Class Gallery page to see some of our wonderful learning so far this year.  

Key information

Our PE Days are Wednesday and Thursday. We are extremely lucky this term in Mole Class as In2Sports will be carrying out some of our PE sessions on a Wednesday afternoon!

We will also have forest school on a Tuesday afternoon this term.

A 'Little Wandle' reading book and one library book will be sent home on a Friday and will need to be returned the following Friday. If books are not returned we are unable to send your child home with a book the following Friday, so please return them as soon as possible if you notice you have one at home. 

Our drop-off and collection times are: 8.45am and 3.15pm.  The school bell will ring at 8.45am for us to line up on the front playground.  If you arrive at school after this time you will need to come into school via the main entrance to sign in. At the end of the day we will come out through our classroom door.
